The Election Petition Tribunal siting in Makurdi, the Benue State capital will today, Tuesday, give its verdict on a case filled before it by Comrade Daniel Onjeh

Onjeh, who was candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Benue South Senatorial District during the last election, had approached the tribunal seeking the annulment of the election, which the immediate past Senate President, David Mark won.

Media outlets gathered that the case, which is being presided by Justice Mosumola Dipeolu will come to an end today.

When this reporter contacted Onjeh on Monday, he confirmed that the court would pass its verdict on the case on Tuesday.

“Yes, tomorrow is the D-day and we are waiting on alekwu (gods) of our land to deliver us from 16 years of suppression,” he said.
